In a pre-Covid world, I had plans to be Cappadocia, Turkey this weekend. Enjoying an amazingly beautiful historic city with family and friends for my sister-in-laws wedding.

I miss traveling and exploring new cities, however, so grateful for the gift of good health and life during these times.

When I travel, depending on the city, I like to stay at Airbnb’s and the styling of the home or the apartment is a major consideration in my selection.

Two years ago, for my older sister’s 30th birthday, we decided to take a sisters trip to Nola to celebrate and stayed in vintage historic home in Bywater. The two bedroom, one bath home with modern amenities was the perfect fit for all 4 of us and was styled so beautifully. Kudos to our super host, Brittany for a job well done.

In the spirit of revisiting things we took for granted, like traveling in peace, I’m spotlighting the amazing Airbnb we stayed in at Nola.

Hopefully when you decide to travel, you’ll make a plan to visit Nola and stay there!
